Volunteer

YWCA Omaha is grounded firmly in our own community, with services and programs to meet the needs of women and families here at home. Give your skills and talents - we offer you a wide range of opportunities, including YW Partners - a volunteer guild that supports YWCA Omaha programs and activities.

Agency volunteers: Work on-site with program staff on various projects; including but not limited to organization tasks, reception, working on 911 cell phones, working in our Career Clothing Closet, or assisting with the computer lab.

Hotline volunteers: Staff 6-12 hours per month on the 24 hour crisis hotline, serving the needs of victims of domestic and sexual violence. Requires an application, interview, and a 30 hour training course provided by the YWCA. Other prerequisites may apply, please see application for further details.
